NZS中心传动式浓缩机主要由浓缩池(钢质或水泥制成)和机械刮泥耙组成。进入浓缩池的矿浆其固体矿粒在自身重力的作用下沉降于池底，实现固液分离。沉积于池底的矿泥被刮集到中心排矿口排出，而澄清水由池边溢流口溢出，达到脱水浓缩的目的。
